Thermilate

Probably the most advanced coating in the world! Using this unique Thermilate Anti Condensation and Insulation Coating will help make homes warmer and keep them drier, adding to the comfort and well being of the tenants.

  1. Thermilate Anti Condensation & Insulation Coating is an acrylic based paint that will cover almost any surface.
  2. Thermilate Composite, Advanced NASA technology, forms tiny spheres within the coating, each having a vacuum inside, which acts to refract, reflect and dissipate heat. This process warms the surface of the area which has been coated and helps protect it from condensation.
  3. This is an advanced preventative measure for the treatment of condensation rather than a temporary cure. Once the coating has been applied the surfaces of the room will be less vulnerable to condensation problems, making tenant’s lives more comfortable, warmer, using less energy and creating a healthier living environment.
  4. Independent Tests by Salford University have confirmed an 11.8% energy saving on surfaces which have been coated with two coats of Thermilate AC/IC and 15.8% with three coats.
  5. The coating is non toxic, safe to use and has low volatile organic compound which makes it environmentally friendly.
  6. Ideal for use on ring beamed properties, Wimpy

What is Thermilate Coating?

Thermilate Coating is an Anti-Condensation and energy saving paint. When applied
as directed it offers long lasting protection. The coating will also bridge minor surface imperfections and giving outstanding durability.

Key Features:

  • Anti Condensation - Keeps Warm Dry house
  • Insulating - Keeps Wall Warm
  • Saves Energy (NASA Technology)
  • Stable over wide range of temperatures
  • Exceptional Durability
  • Non Toxic and safe to use
  • Low VOC and environmentally friendly
  • Resistance to atmospheric pollution
  • Excellent adhesion to wide range of surfaces
  • Easy to use
  • Use almost anywhere

How Does It Work?

Thermilate Anti-Condensation paint contains Advanced NASA technology which is termed Thermilate Composite. The composite is formed into tiny spheres with each having a vacuum inside. The spheres act to refract, reflect and dissipate heat. The Thermilate composite is added to an advanced formulation of resins to form the anti-condensation paint. This combination produces one of the most advanced coatings
in the world.

Intended Use

Thermilate Anti-Condensation Coating is an acrylic-based finish formulated for the interior walls and ceilings where a anti-condensation washable surface finish of the highest quality is required. For environments with high humidity or frequent condensation conditions, i.e. kitchens, bathrooms.

Suitable Substrates And Preparation

It is absolutely essential that all surfaces are appropriately prepared before applying Thermilate Anti Condensation and Insulation Coating in order to ensure effectiveness
of use. Advice on wall suitability can be sought by contacting us on 01424 436793.

Should be applied to dry, sound surfaces which must be free from dirt, dust and grease. Concrete, brick and plaster surfaces should be free of latence, efflorescence, fungal growths and algae. Seal friable surfaces with Stabilising Solution. Previously painted surfaces should be lightly abraded prior to application to ensure adequate adhesion. For areas of condensation and fungal growth these should be cleaned and treated with Thermilate Anti-mould and Fungal treatment.

Application Details

PREFERABLY BRING PAINT TO 15-25°C. - STIR WELL BEFORE USE.

Brush/Roller Apply evenly using a well-loaded brush or roller.
Cleaner Water is recommended for cleaning.

Thermilate paint is a 2 coat paint so 2 coats are required for maximum coverage. Thermilate undercoat. is also recommended.
