What Is It?


A Grant Assisted Discount Scheme For Private Householders

As Osborne Energy we are able, in partnership with local authorities and Energy Suppliers, to offer insulation works at discounted prices to the many residents who currently miss out on any type of grant assistance. We currently operate two schemes, one with London Energy for residents entitled to 100% grants and one with Scottish and Southern for 100% and able to pay tenants.

As Part Of The Scheme Osborne Energy Are Able To Offer
The Following Measures:

  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Loft insulation
  • Hot water tank jacket (where main measures are installed)
  • Pipe insulation (where main measures are installed)
  • Cold water tank insulation (where main measures are installed)

How It Works

Enquirers call our Private Scheme Freephone line: 0800 085 1674

  • Call centre completes questionnaire with customer details.
  • Any customer on Qualifying Benefits for Warm Front are referred to the appropriate scheme manager. We also have EEC 100% grant funds available subject to customers meeting the criteria.
  • Alternatively we use our trained assessment surveyors who will initially pre-drop scheme information letters, and then follow up with a home visit to advise the occupier of the best scheme available to them.

Installer Confidence

  • We only use Osborne Energy approved Installers, therefore the customer knows that their information will only be passed to installers that have been quality checked.
  • By using a tendered scheme that has a maximum price guideline, the customer can be assured that they will not be overcharged for the work.

Managing The Scheme

Osborne Energy will be your contact point for any queries you have from start to finish.
This will prevent unnecessary problems arising especially whilst the scheme is running. As part
of the scheme local authorities will be informed of approved contractors who are to partake
in the programme of works.
