Community Energy Partnerships

The focus of the programme is to provide a bridge between utility companies, local authorities and a range of other organisations in order to establish quality and effective areabased programmes as we move towards the implementation of both HEM and Local Carbon Frameworks.

When establishing long term programmes Community Energy Partnerships will aim to invest set-up funds into the training and employment of local people to deliver the scheme in support of our socially focused ethos.

The initial service is free to our main partners and will include:

  • Engaging with local authorities and other community groups and organisations
  • Designing a cost effective approach for the funding and delivery of relevant measures
  • Setting up brand and marketing programmes
  • Managing an area-based door to door campaign led by qualified Home Energy Assessors
  • Establishing provision for additional services for income maximisation, training and employment
  • To provide transparent processes and reporting facilities
  • To develop sustainable Eco-upgrade programmes.

Community Energy Partnerships is a collaboration of the industry’s leading service providers such as Income Max and HEAT who have formed a strategic partnership to deliver holistic and effective programmes by joining their expertise and resources.

Community Energy Partnerships is Osborne Energy’s new national programme. The programme delivers quality area-based services for our partners which are replicable and remain cost-effective whilst addressing wider social issues, such as advice, income maximisation and fuel poverty.
